Some growth I have seen in my wording of standards and questions. I am starting to think more about clear language and how to be concise while not generalizing. How the assessment we choose can have great impacts on students. Also, not every assessment is created equally and there are flaws to all assessments.

As an educator I really need to think about my biases and how my assessments could be flawed in different ways. Also, to really think about what I’m assessing and if the assessment I’m could actually be measuring something different. Problems should be focused on the content students learned, not outside knowledge. This made me realize how important wording is and not to assume all students have the background information.
